Greetings, I am Jason, and I hold a deep love for creating captivating audio and enchanting visuals. Since childhood, creativity has been
my driving force. Alongside my friends, armed with makeshift tennis racket guitars, we journeyed on imaginary rock 'n' roll escapades,
believing in our destined greatness.
I was diagnosed with Autosomal Recessive Hereditary Spastic Tetraparesis, a condition that resembles Cerebral Palsy. That journey
started when I was 19 months old. I went back to crawling and thus began a lifetime of experimentation, struggle, strength, weakness,
and everything in between.
Originating from the quaint town of Sandwich in Illinois, just 90 miles west of bustling Chicago, I embraced the joys of travel, often
accompanied by my musical companions on unforgettable adventures.
Over the years, I refined my skills and contributed to three bands in North Central Illinois: "Forbiden Fate," "Shattered i," and "Dual
Illusion." I not only played drums but also took on managerial and production responsibilities. Our "Forbiden Fate" demo received
overseas airplay, and we were featured in two Chicago publications monthly.
In "Shattered i," I delved into roles as a promoter, co-writer, performer, and arranger. Together, we released a captivating two-song EP,
marking the start of more collaborations on studio projects. In 1995, our debut album "Can't Forever Be" was released, and we
performed at Milwaukee Metal Fest alongside renowned bands.
In 2002, I founded Fuzzy Monster Recordings, a Pro Tools-based recording studio where I worked with various artists and bands. "Dual
Illusion" also recorded music there.
Currently, I explore the digital realm through platforms like YouTube to share my music, create rock music videos, and produce content
on my friend's podcast, "Another Truth podcast with Jimmy Sam."
A highlight of my musical journey was releasing my first full album under "Rockstar on Wheels," titled "Push to ROCK - Vol. 1 - J's
Instrumentals," which premiered on major streaming platforms on August 8, 2023.
Through life's challenges, I persist in my musical passion, leveraging technology to overcome obstacles and pursue new creative
endeavors.
Update: After 50 years of not knowing what disability I have. I now actually may have found out. I took a genetics
tests and it says I have “Aicardi-Goutières Syndrome (AGS)”.
